Tidal Waves Swim Lessons

first day of swim lessons

June 4th, 2024

Our Brunswick swim lessons are the perfect place for your child to learn to swim. The Forest Hills Tidal Waves swim lessons take place every Tuesday and Thursday morning between 9:00am and 11:30am. The 2024 time schedule and groups will be posted when they are finalized.

Our instructors engage each swimmer before getting in the pool and use fun games to teach how to swim. Swimmers can only learn when they are engaged, which is why the Forest Hills Tidal Waves focuses on the FUN-damentals of swimming.

Some swimmers progress at a much faster rate than others, so we give swimmers the ability to advance to higher level groups during their time in lessons in the summer. This way, swimmers are always challenged in their skills! This is at the coach's discretion and will communicate with the parent of the swimmer when a swimmer is ready to move up.

If a swimmer progresses above the skills we teach in lessons, they can immediately move right to the swim team! The cost of lessons is the same as the swim team so there is no additional cost.

Water confidence

Water confidence is the foundation of learning to swim. Our instructors utilize games and engaging activities to engage each swimmer at each level.

Body position

Teaching good body position helps swimmers advance faster and further. Our instructors focus on teaching good body position to help your child succeed as they progress.
