Tidal Waves ride high and place 3rd at champs!

The Forest Hills Tidal Waves wrapped up their 2024 swim season with a stellar performance at the Cuyahoga Valley Swim League championship meet in Independence this past Saturday, clinching their second consecutive third-place finish.

Our 9-10 swimmers had the strongest showing, securing an impressive 1st place finish in their 100 Medley Relay. Every other age group had great relays, with four additional 2nd place finishes over the course of the meet. Not only relays, but the Forest Hills Tidal Waves secured 14 additional 1st place finishes in various individual events. Event after event, the Tidal Waves demonstrated all they learned over the course of the season with flawless strokes and super speed!

The coaches maintained their 3rd straight victory in the coaches 200 Medley Relay, while the parents put up a good fight in the parent 200 Free Relay!

The season culminated the following day at the awards swim party in the Forest Hills Development pool. The coaches loved telling the funny stories of the season and handing out awards. Special shout out to Lux Rundle and Lincoln Thomas for receiving the “Fish Award” for the most improved swimmers!
